Weekly training

Each week, we offer a range of formal and informal opportunities to improve your running – no matter your speed, ability or goal.

Our group training includes:

  • 6:00pm Tuesday evening sessions to improve your speed (outside Freyberg Pool)
  • 2:00pm Saturday friendly pack runs (contact us for weekly venue), and
  • 8:30am Sunday long, slow morning runs to improve your endurance (contact us for weekly venue).

Coaching

Wellington Scottish has an active coaching programme for runners and walkers. Experienced runners and walkers within the club volunteer to help you train wisely and achieve your goals. Their wisdom can advise you how to train, when to rest, whether to push on with today’s run even if you are feeling exhausted, whether to sign up for races, what times to aim for, and so on.
