Where can I find . . .?
This is a brief guide to the new website via the links in the top yellow box.
HOME has as a three-line “teaser” the latest news item below the photos. If you click on the small arrows between the banner photos and the text, you can see the latest three items.
The MORE NEWS button takes you to the NEWS page.
The MORE INFORMATION yellow button provides membership information.
USEFUL LINKS has the website addresses of, and links to, Athletics New Zealand, Athletics Wellington, other clubs, and our photographers.
This is where we put our news items, results highlights, and new club information. Clicking on READ MORE gives you the full item.
This has results sorted by types of recurring and popular events: eg, handicap races such as the Baudinet Cup are under the +CLUB HANDICAP RACE toggle. The other collections are +CROSS COUNTRY, +ROAD RACES, +TRACK & FIELD, +MOUNTAIN RACES (including 3 Peaks), +RACE WALKS. These “buckets” will become more populated in time. The only exception is the Waterfront 5k Series which has its own results page as a subpage of WATERFRONT 5K.
This has a calendar with the names of events on the appropriate date. You can shift from month to month using the arrows or the month and year boxes. Hovering over an event will give you a teaser of what’s happening. Clicking on the event title will throw up the details. If you prefer your events in a list, then click on the event list in the top right corner.
This gives you information about the coming season’s programme. Yellow buttons take you to membership and coaching information.
SERVICES page tells you about some of the services offered by the club, uniforms, with some yellow button duplication with Syllabus. It also has a yellow button if you want to contact us. This contact page also has a link to names, emails and phone numbers of people running the club and its services.
Our 5k page has general information about our Tuesday 5k series, including a flyer you might put up at your workplace. On the page (and under the top link) is a link to the latest 5k results. If you click on your name (or type it into the box at the bottom), you’ll be given a list of all your results in this event since August 2005, ranked from fastest to slowest. This area is maintained by Daryl Bloomfield.
Contains some other information about club history, the clubhouse and a map of how to get there. You see at this stage there is some duplication in the linkages about information.
