Let us help you with your Marathon goal
Completing or Competing in a Marathon for many runners is a common goal. Each year thousands of runners join various Marathon events to improve their fitness, better their times, race their friends and be part of the festive running atmosphere. Wellington Scottish specialises in helping runners of all abilities achieve their Marathon goals. Our red lion singlets are scattered throughout the fields running all different speeds, our athletes help pace many people to their goals, and our best runners often race each other for podium places.
If you have got a goal you want to achieve at Marathon and or Half Marathon distances we can help you achieve it.
Wellington Scottish offers:
- Personalised coaching advice for runners of all abilities from one of Wellington Scottish's qualified and experienced coaches. Our coaches can help you get started in setting a goal and achieving the goal;
- Friendly club members who will train together with you at your own pace, showing you some of Wellington's best running routes;
- Group speed and technique sessions, some of which are at Karori Park and Newtown Athletics track; and
- Free entry to our club races which are organised during the season, for you to try out competitive running within a friendly, club environment.
