On Saturday 12th March 2016, we had our open day, with many returning faces along with welcome new comers whom we look forward to seeing over the course of the year! Once the pack runs departed a handful of Scottish runners headed to the track where 16 competed in the Wellington 5000m Championship 2016. Thanks to the Centre for including it on the programme and Ress Bucks for initiating and organising the event. Nick Horspool won the Senior Men's Race (14:59.33), Rowan Hooper came in second (15:32.13) with Donal Hanratty not far behind (15:44.56). Stephen Day won the Master's Men's Race (15:34.39). Emily Solsberg came third in the Open Grade for Senior Woman (19.23.14).
