The story of Wellington Scottish (1915-2015)

Third limited reprint (due to popular demand)

Ever wondered why the club is named Scottish? What the story is behind the club’s oldest trophy the Ballantyne? How many Olympians and World Champions we have produced? How many times we have won the ‘Top Club’ at the NZ Road Relay? How we have managed to survive for over 100 years?

Well the answers to these questions and many more can be found in the club history book. The book, originally produced for the Scottish Centenary in 2015 is having a third limited reprint (due to popular demand). The book is a coffee table-style publication which journeys through each decade of the club’s story. It includes biographies of club personalities, races, events, incidents and accidents. At 230 pages, and including over 500 historic photos from the club’s fantastic archives it is a bargain at $50 and will be available at the club Opening Day on 7 April at the Centennial Cup Race.

So if you would like a copy get in quick. Contact Grant McLean the book’s editor to get on the order list at: gmclean@allenandclarke.co.nz and please credit the Scottish account: 38 9005 0501833 00
and add your name and ‘book’ as a reference.
