Congratulations to all those who ran in the Shaw Baton Relay. Wellington Scottish entered 15 Teams. Well done to the Senior Women who won for the 6th year in a row (34:53). The Masters Women retained their trophy from last year winning in 38:31 from WHAC - 38:49, the Masters Men team won - 44:11, whilst the Masters 50 came second - 50:25 (our best performance since the grade began in 2013). The Senior Men won again (21st year in a row) in 40:26, Scottish B came 4th, 3 seconds behind Trentham. The Junior Men came 4th (or maybe 3rd equal?)

J-Team report: With a lot of last-minute changes, we did manage to get together our usual two teams. Although the course was slightly longer (that hill on the other side from the start), everyone seemed to handle it well and to enjoy the fun of being in a team. Just as I had expected, we saw a massive improvement from our Jelle, who was also a good team captain! I know Felix is fast, but I did not expect him to run as fast as most SENIOR men!! Maaike also set a personal record over the course. Young Nynke who took off in the rain was great too for her first run over 2km considering she is a young under 9!  So we had three PBs: Jelle, Felix and Maaike. - by Jonathon Harper
